It has a bit of richness on the nose I can only equate to creamed corn, along with toasted/grilled peach and nectarine. There are layers of hazelnut, fresh cream and poached pear as well.
On the palate, it has nice body and texture without becoming overbearing but, remains leaning to the richer side. The flavors rather match the aromas, with loads of baked pear tart, creme brulee, lemon curd, golden apple and peach galette.
If you prefer a richer, more luscious and full expression but not falling into "butter bomb" territory, this is likely a great wine for you. Given it's density, I'd likely serve this colder than I usually prefer my Chardonnay, to tamp down the richness just a touch.
